Here, mornings begin softly — light filtering through the trees, coffee warming your hands and the stillness of the forest setting the pace for the day. Some cabins offer gentle, peekaboo glimpses toward Spring Cove, while others are fully immersed in greenery, offering a deep sense of privacy and calm.

This is a place to rest, reconnect, and enjoy the quiet comfort of being surrounded by nature. Each cabin offers a generous two-level layout with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, providing plenty of space to unwind and settle in comfortably.

The space

Calmwater Retreat is a modern, thoughtfully designed cabin spread across two levels, balancing clean architectural lines with warmth and privacy.

  • Approximately 1,100 square feet across two floors

  • Upper level dedicated to living, dining, kitchen space and half bathroom

  • Lower level reserved for bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, creating quiet separation

  • Two king bedrooms plus a queen sofa bed, comfortably sleeping up to six

  • Tall, vaulted ceilings that make the main living area feel open and spacious

  • Expansive windows oriented toward nature for privacy

  • Wood wall paneling that adds warmth and texture

  • Custom wood furnishings throughout the living and dining spaces

  • Private hot tub for each cabin, set in a secluded natural setting

Surrounded by forest

Completed in August 2024, Calmwater Retreat was intentionally designed to sit quietly within its surroundings. Old-growth trees frame the cabins, and the layout prioritizes privacy, with windows facing into forest and natural surroundings rather than neighbouring structures.

Step outside and you’re moments from the Wild Pacific Trail, Lighthouse Loop, and Terrace Beach — ideal for coastal walks, forest paths, and storm watching year-round.

Wildlife sightings are part of the surrounding landscape, and you may occasionally spot birds, eagles, deer, or other coastal wildlife during your stay.
